Dr. Chart Chiemchaisri is a full professor attached to Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Doctor of Engineering degree in Urban Engineering from The University of Tokyo. He also obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Assessment from Imperial College, University of London. His research experiences are in the areas of wastewater treatment and solid waste management with special focus on municipal solid waste landfill, landfill gas and leachate treatment and greenhouse gas emission from waste and wastewater. He has published more than 190 international refereed journal papers to date with h index of 37 (Scopus). His research areas include advanced wastewater treatment, membrane technology, emerging pollutant control. He is also currently serving as editors for several international journals, e.g., Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management (Springer), Sustainable Chemistry One World (Elsevier), Agricultural and Natural Resources Journal, ASEAN Engineering Journal.
