PZETS-2025 Oral Presentation：Synergistic Construction of Water Reuse and Urban Aquatic Eco-Security for a Healthy Water Cycle

Yang Huo is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at Northeast Normal University. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scientists. He currently holds the position of Co-ordinator of the Youth Committee of the Jilin Provincial Academy of Environmental Science and Engineering. He also serves as an Editorial Board Member for Journal of Hazardous Materials Advances.

Prof. Huo’s research interests focus on the micro-ecological effects of water pollution, aquatic environmental behaviours of emerging contaminants, and the optimization of low-carbon wastewater treatment processes. He has led 10 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial scientific and technological programs. He has published over 60 SCI-indexed papers in journals such as Water Research, Environmental Science & Technology, Journal of Hazardous Materials and Journal of Cleaner Production. In addition, he holds 10 national patents and participated in the formulation of 2 national standards, and won the 2023 Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Award.
