Xie Li, a professor and PhD supervisor at the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University, specializes in resource utilization of wastewater and organic solid waste. She was the principle investigator of National Natural Science Foundation projects, sub-projects of the National Key Technology Support Program, and Shanghai international cooperation projects. She has published over 80 papers in internationally renowned SCI-indexed journals and authored three English monographs. Her research achievements in the resource utilization technology of sewage sludge were awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (2019) and the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (2015).
