Guangming Zhang, Professor in environmental engineering, Hebei University of Technology. She obtained her Ph.D. from Purdue University, USA, in 2001. She served as faculty in Tsinghua University (Shenzhen), Harbin University of Technology, Renmin University of China. Her research interests lay in water and wastewater treatment and biomass treatment, especially the photosynthetic bacteria technology and sonochemical technology. She published 9 books, and 460 peer-reviewed papers, and tutored 84 graduate students in these areas.
