Dr. Thi-Dieu-Hien VO obtained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in environmental engineering at Can Tho University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh (VNU-HCM), Vietnam, respectively. In July 2019, she got Ph.D. in environmental engineering at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Currently, she serves as Head of Program of Environmental and Resources Management of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology - Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Vietnam. Her research focuses on the fields of environmental engineering and technology including constructed wetland, wetland roof, biochar, food waste composting, membrane bioreactor, algae-based wastewater treatment, and air pollution monitoring. She has been published 116 publications (including 63 ISI/Scopus papers, 10 international non-ISI papers, 10 national papers, 30 international conferences, 2 book chapters and 1 book). Additionally, she has played the role of project investigator/key member for 17 projects funded by international/national organizations, and the organizational member of 8 international workshops/conferences. She is a reviewer for several journals as BITE, BITEB, ETI, ESPR, STOTEN, SCOWO, etc. Now she serves as a member of early career researcher board of Sustainable Chemistry One World Journal.
