PZETS-2025 Oral Presentation：Carbon-based materials facilitating the resource utilization of agricultural wastes: 3D-0D

Pan Junting, Male, Ph.D. Professor at the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, selected as a distinguished talent in agricultural sciences by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He mainly engages in research on the resource utilization of agricultural waste, and the prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution. His research interests primarily focus on improving and enhancing anaerobic digestion of agricultural waste, reducing ammonia and greenhouse gas emissions during aerobic composting, fabricating and applying high-value bio-based materials, and the sustainable management of agricultural non-point source pollution. He has presided over more than 20 projects, including the 2030 National Key R&D Program for Science and Technology Innovation, the Chinese Agricultural Research System post scientist project, and various other projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General and Youth). As the first/corresponding author (including co-first/corresponding), he has published over 60 papers in reputed journals such as Trends in Biotechnology, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, and Water Research, and has an H-index of 43. He is the primary inventor of 6, authorized, domestic invention patents (1 commercialized, generating 550,000 RMB) and 2 US patents. Of these, two technologies have been selected as key promoted technologies by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China. He has participated in developing 9 agricultural industry standards, and 6 research reports that have received affirmation from national leaders. He is currently serving as a national modern agricultural industry technology scientist, a member of the Expert Advisory Group on Comprehensive Utilization of Straw in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, a member of the Expert Advisory Group on Rural Biogas Safety Production in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, an expert for the Guidance on Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution Control and Supervision under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China. He is also serving as an executive director at the China Rural Energy Industry Association, and as a director at the China Biogas Society and the Beijing Society of Agricultural Engineering.
