Dr. Xuan-Thanh BUI obtained Ph.D. degrees in environmental engineering at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Currently, he is an associate professor Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM. He serves as the Head of VNU-HCM Key Laboratory of Advanced Waste Treatment Technology. His research focuses on membrane processes, waste treatment technologies, algae processes, etc. He has published more than 300 peer reviewed journal papers, 10 books, 36 book chapters and 2 US patents. In addition, He is an editor of Sustainable Chemistry One World, associate editor of Environmental Technology and Innovation and editor board member of Bioresource Technology (Elsevier).
