PZETS-2025 Oral Presentation：Electrosorption Outperforms Nanofiltration and Electrodialysis in Direct Lithium Extraction

Li Wang is a Professor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University (since 2023). His research focuses on water separation technologies at the water–energy nexus, including desalination, selective resource recovery, brine management, and mechanistic modeling. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Wuhan University, Texas A&M University, and Vanderbilt University, and completed postdoctoral research at Yale University. Li leads several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has published ~50 papers in journals such as Science Advances, Environmental Science & Technology, and ACS Nano. He serves on the editorial board of npj Clean Water and as a guest editor for Separation and Purification Technology.
